About me

Tamara has been part of the talented crew at the Walt Disney Animation Studios for over twenty-six years where she manages a team of designers responsible for creating displays and exhibits for museums, theme parks and hotels, and cruise ships. She is also one of the curators on staff for two of the company’s international traveling exhibitions.

Tamara is also a freelance art director and graphic designer and has designed over dozen books for Disney Editions, in addition to two museum catalogues. She is currently art directing installations at children’s hospitals around the globe in conjunction with the corporate Social Responsibility team of the Walt Disney Company to bring inspiration and joy to children and families.

Tamara also has a background in film and has produced a few short films, including one for AFI’s Director’s Workshop for Women (2006-07). Tamara was one of three producers on the feature-length documentary TYRUS which premiered at Telluride in Fall 2015.

Additional areas of interest include: completing her doctorate in Theology (Spring 2022), international travel (pre- and post-pandemic), wine tasting, sketching, painting, sculpting, and running on the beach with her furry pal, Gizmo.
